Tree Stumps - use brown paper boxes and draw tree rings on the top of the box.

Tree Top Canopy - use green fabric to hang from the ceiling and walls. Pin stuffed animals like birds, monkeys and more to the fabric to make a wild canopy!

Have the kids make watercolor butterflies during Sunday School. Then hand in a small hallway to create a butterfly room.

Create a waterfall using blue cellophane and brown paper. Add in real or artificial ferns. If you are adventurous, use a baby pool at the bottom and have real water and fish in it.

Space Asteroids - Use round balls (basketballs, etc.) and cover them with aluminum foil. Place them in hallways and classrooms!

Glow-In-The-Dark Stars

Stellar Space Rooms - Use these Black Light Bulbs to create a stellar space experience with your glow-in-the-dark materials.

Hang black paper to cover the walls. Use florescent paint to paint constellations. Then use black lights to make the paint look like space.

Space Trash - cover trash cans with aluminum foil.

Praise God Wall - cover a wall in black paper. Supply chalk or white crayons and allow kids to write things that they praise God for.

Desert & Sky Backdrop

The Nile - Use blue colored carpets, blue fabric, construction paper or blue cellophane to lie on the floor to create the Nile River.

Columns - Use square boxes and build them up to your desired height (make sure that they are not going to fall over), wrap brown colored paper around the boxes to get a circular look. Please them outside doors, this will make the kids feel like they are walking into a pyramid.

Hieroglyphics - Use this website to create words in hieroglyphics. Copy them on to larger poster board or paper by either redrawing or painting them, then simply hang them above doors or in rooms. You may also use this to print our kids names in hieroglyphics!
