Undecided About A 2010 VBS Theme?
{ February 5th, 2010 }
It’s hard to believe that we are gearing up for another exciting VBS season! If you haven’t made a decision on your 2010 VBS theme, you’ll want to make it soon so your planning and ordering can begin!There are so many great themes to choose from this year, which makes the decision even more difficult. We’ve listed a couple of sites that have some good information that may help you in your decision:
- There is a fantastic article written by Lynda Freeman titled “A Heroic Effort.” You’ll find a breakdown of most of the 2010 VBS programs as well as her reviews of the programs’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Yourchurch.net has put together a comparison chart. http://www.christianitytoday.com/special/ycresources/pdf/vbs_chart_2010.pdf
- Tony Kummer over at Ministry-to-Children.com has also done a couple of reviews (http://ministry-to-children.com/vacation-bible-school-2010/). Even better, he has a video entitled “How to Pick Your VBS Theme.”
Hope you are ready to plan an incredible 2010 VBS! No matter your theme, Guildcraft Arts & Crafts is your source for VBS crafts! Check out our new VBS crafts here.

This years theme for “Club VBS” is Route 254. This a great program, all the crafts are easy and inexpensive, the same goes for the snacks. There are programs for babies thru adults. The program can be modified for a Backyard Bible Club, a Wednesday night program, a one day learning session or anyway that fits into your church’s program. I think if more people would take the time to look into the Club VBS programs from Lifeway that they would be really pleased with it.
